928MX MotoCross Race series

July 2011

The MotoCross Race series hosted their end of the year trophy ceremony, and needed gift certificates. We love to support our local kids: especially those that wear a mohawk helmet!

"It is good to know that with the support of our local business that we as a town can come together and help with special events that are good for our kids as well as adults & the community. These events take more than just one person; it takes the support and dedication from all of us. You are helping to make a difference!" Danette Gerding, 928MX Promotions

Daughters of the American Revolution

July 4 2011

We donated flags for the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) booth at the Mission Viejo Street Faire…Those tricky gals made people answer US history questions to get one. The DAR, founded in 1890 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children.

Girl Scout troop completes project at senior center

May 10, 2011 | By ocregister

Girl Scout Junior troop #1425 in Irvine just completed its two-year Bronze Award – the highest award a Junior scout can earn. The award shows that scouts have improved their community and their world in some way. This troop has been working on its Bronze Award at the Lakeview Senior Center in Woodbridge by hosting dances, activities and presentations for the seniors. The final part of the award was planting large herb/flower gardens at the Lakeview Senior Center. Thanks to plant and gardening supply donations by Ace Hardware...they completed the project and planted three large herb/flower gardens for the center.

March 19 2011: The ICF Branch 423 at St. Thomas More Church in Irvine hosted their annual “St. Joseph Table” to raise funds for charities in Orange County. They needed Ace’s canning jars to include a jar of homemade spaghetti sauce along with pasta and other goodies in their “Meal in a Bag” that was sold at the event. I bet that sauce was delicious!
